Harker - 'The Priory Sessions' Release

Hey everybody, after a long wait i’m pleased to announced that ‘The Priory Sessions’ will be released on the 28th May for free download via BandCamp and on the 4th June physically on vinyl effect CD as an initial run of 20 copies each hand numbered. Pre orders for this will be up on Monday the 21st. any profit made from these CDs will be donated to Youth Music, A charity that enables young people to develop their creativity and potential through the education of music.

I’m joining up for the Moon and Back benefit compilation for The Menzinger’s. Anyone who follows the band will know that they had a lot of money and personal items nicked in Manchester a few nights back including lyric books and tour diaries. This seems to be becoming a lot more common these days and is a real horrible thing to happen to a band.

But, as soon as this happened a lot of people sprang into action over it, including Banquet Records where you can head over to their web store and donate some money directly to the band to help them through the rest of their tour. Ant from Moon & Back contacted me about grouping a load of artists and giving something back to them to let them know that even though they may be going through a pretty shitty time, everyone in the UK certainly has their backs. It’s times like this it makes me real fuckin’ proud of this scene to know that if tough times are ahead, there will always be at least someone who can help you through.

So here’s my contribution, a cover of ‘Who’s Your Partner?’ which was the first track off ‘Chamberlain Waits’. Personally one of my favourite albums, so I shot at the chance to do this. More details and more artists are being announced shortly, keep an eye out and the album will be available soon with ALL proceeds going to The Menzinger’s.
